Car / Landing Operating Panels
Car Operating Panels (COPs) are an integral part of an elevator system, serving as the primary interface between passengers and the elevator. They are usually located inside the elevator car and are used to control the elevator's operations, such as selecting floors, opening or closing doors, and activating emergency features.
Landing Operating Panels (LOPs) are the control panels located on each floor of a building, typically near the elevator doors, that allow users to call the elevator to their floor. They serve as the interface between the building occupants and the elevator system when outside the elevator car.
